      <image:title>Home - Life is complicated.</image:title>
<image:caption>At times, everything is relatively plain-sailing. The waters are calm. We feel the sun on our face. We are at peace. Yet this isn’t always the case, and for many of us, life can be painful, isolating and frightening. That wide-open sea is suddenly a vast, overwhelming expanse, with you alone in the middle of it, totally exposed and vulnerable to what the elements have in store for you. You feel trapped, stuck, afraid and like you have no control over what happens next. Or maybe you’re just bored of your old life at sea. Psychotherapy can help with this. At Makepeace House, qualified and experienced therapists offer clients a safe, welcoming, confidential space where they can be free of judgement. Together, we will explore your experiences, supporting you as you gain insight into your pain and discomfort. By working through past experiences, they can be left behind, so that clients discover their true selves and feel accepted and listened to.</image:caption>

<image:caption>Relationships can be hard. We all experience times of stress and strain, which can make our most important relationships feel under threat. You may feel like it is time to move on, or you may not. The two of you may not agree. Talking to a couples counsellor can unlock conversations which feel stuck, or like you’re going round in circles. At Makepeace House, our experienced couples therapists offer a mediated, safe, non-judgemental space for you to work through your issues and move forward.</image:caption>
