    I am an accredited psychotherapist based in Market Harborough, having met the BACP’s higher standard for experienced, ethical and independent practice. I trained at the Leicester Centre for Psychodynamic Counselling and Goldsmiths, University of London. I work with individuals and couples, and I take a particular interest in how our unconscious behaviour impacts on our life and relationships. I work with a vast range of clients, and my special interests include grief and loss, high-functioning performance and burnout, neurodiversity, and menopause.

    I am a fully-qualified psychotherapist based in Market Harborough, having trained at the Leicester Centre for Psychodynamic Counselling. I work with adults, teenagers and young adults on an individual basis, and I also provide couples counselling. I work with clients by exploring past experiences and unconscious processes. I am interested in the mind-body connection, as well as how our relationship with the natural world can aid mental and physical wellbeing. I offer walk and talk therapy for those wishing to experience counselling in nature.

About Makepeace House

Our therapists

Our psychotherapists are all fully qualified and work psychodynamically, meaning we take an interest in a client’s early experiences and relationships.

We work with individuals of any gender, relationship or sexual identity and focus on the therapeutic relationship to provide change for clients, in a safe and non-judgmental environment.

Our ethics

All our psychotherapists are members of the BACP and adhere to their ethical code of conduct. Thomasin has achieved accredited status with the BACP, meaning she has met their higher standard of independent, ethical and competent practice.

All our work is confidential and takes place in our calm, welcoming office in the centre of Market Harborough.

Our availability

Sessions take place once a week and are usually open-ended. David charges £60 a session (£70 for couples); Thomasin charges £75 for individual work, (£90 for couples). Concessionary rates are available: please email us to enquire.

Appointments take place at the same time and day each week and last 50 minutes (60 minutes for couples). Our therapists work Monday to Friday.
